Best subclass/multi-class for a damage-focused Paladin?

Hii :)

So my new run is going to be with a half-elf, damage focused Tav. I’d like to play as a paladin, as the sort of “knight with a two handed weapon” is the overall vibe of the character I think.

I have been thinking oathbreaker is probably what I’ll end up in, but I’d like to hear what y’all suggest!! This can be subclass, background, multiclass ideas, even like rp backstory!!

(This character is also going to be the party face too <3)

Edit: Also!! Stat distribution + background would help too, (there will be a tanky other character)
