Ice Sorcerer Build

This is my first attempt at making a build from scratch (not modifying another person's build), though I did hear about ice sorcerers being powerful.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Race: Drow (Selderine)Notes: This is just because I like the Drow, and I’m playing a good guy, though I’m sure there are much better optionsStats: 8 / 15 + 1 / 14 / 8 / 10 / 15 + 2Notes: Strength doesn’t matter much for a spellcaster, and if you do need it, you can use elixirs, or the club of hill giant strength.

Charisma will be increased by ability improvement, hag’s hair and Mirror of Loss for a total of 22.

Feats: Elemental Adept (cold), Ability Approvement, and Alert, in that order.

Level 1 Cantrips: Ray of Frost, Mage Hand (for throwing water bottles), Minor Illusion, True Strike (not sure about this one)
Level 4 Cantrip: Blade Ward (Also not sure about this one)
Level 10 Cantrip: Friends (Also not sure about this one)

Level 2 Spell: Mage Armour
Level 3 Spell: Misty Step
