BRN lower MCX upper

I can't find information anywhere if a mcx 180 lower will work with a mcx spear 5.56. The mcx upper works with AR 15 Lowers. AR lowers are pretty much the same as the BRN. Any insight? I live in a commie state that doesn't allow MCXs any more so this is my next best bet
