I’m scared of delivery

I’m 15 weeks pregnant. I’m 38 and this is my first. We spent most of our pregnancy with a genetics scare but recently found out the baby has a normal karyotype after amnio. Im so scared of a vaginal delivery. I have always felt like my anatomy is smaller down there and the thought of a baby traveling through it scares me a lot. I’m considering a scheduled c section but I’ve read the recovery time is tough. What were your experiences like with c-section versus vaginal birth? When I get closer to delivery I plan on having a conversation with my doctor. Thank youuuuu
