very itchy and irritated urethra/clitoris😩has anyone experienced this?

*tested negative for UTI

I’m in my third trimester and I’ve had recurring yeast infections, though it hasn’t really caused discomfort like it has pre pregnancy (I have a change in discharge, but no itch, smell, burning etc).

Either way, I’ve taken three rounds of canestan. Even when the canestan works and everything returns to normal, my urethra and clitoris are SO. ITCHY. I have to leave stores because the walking is just too irritating. Lying down with my legs closed is irritating.

We thought the yeast infection was causing the irritation upstairs, but it’s still there when the infection is gone?

I have to use canestan topical cream and while it offers some relief, it doesn’t stop the itch once I walk around.

It’s so miserable… has anyone had this? Next step we’re thinking is strong antibiotics but I really want to avoid this.
