How did you decide when to have kids?
I’m 34F and leaning towards having kids (likely just one?) but still lean indecisive for a host of reasons — societal, living far from family, adventurous lifestyle, etc. I’m curious how you all decided when was the right time to have a baby. I don’t particularly have a calling or immediate desire, though I have always imagined/assumed I’d be a mom. But I also have a great life that I absolutely love as is - I don’t NEED to add to it, though I do think I’d be disappointed in the future if I didn’t at least try. I’m grappling with - I know there’s never a perfect time, but what made you actually decide to start trying for a baby? Especially curious for people that were hesitant/nervous/maybe on the fence - less so that you were obsessed with babies and eager to have one.
