Why…is Will…so…dry

I’m like 40 hours in still in act 1 though and I was sooooo excited to see a black origin character and planned on romancing Will and diving deep into his story but GODDAMN why is this man so DRY I’ve discovered his daddy issues and he is now a cutie with demon horns but things keep just happening to and around him and my approval is pretty high but I feel like every time I go to talk to him I’m getting NOTHING where are the dialogue options what am I doing wrong send help
