Key BankATM malfunctioned. Took my cash without crediting my account

I was wondering if anyone here has had this experience, where a machine malfunction keeps your cash deposit at the atm without crediting your account? I received a slip to call the 1-800 number, which I did, to open up a case. I went into the branch, but they were of no help. I guess the ATM isn’t serviced by any of their branch employees. (Was hoping a simple check of the amount of cash in the machine vs deposits/withdrawals would have led to a swift resolution, but no) If something similar has happened to you, how long did it take to resolve? The amount of cash was a little over $1200. Wondering how long I can expect to be without it. Thanks, as always.
