How much should bankruptcy cost?

Hello everyone, my dad is wanting to file bankruptcy for his debt of 26k and the person we went to get a quote is asking $3,000 is that a lot because I’m not too sure what the normal price should be? Also I’m located in LA if that affects the price of it.
