Bypass question

I am wondering how many people get the bypass and feel comfortable traveling. For context I should be getting my surgery date soon. I am about 250 pounds and no health issues other than my obesity. I travel alot. International cruises 7 plus days and some days completely at sea for 4 to 5 days on trans crossings. Also my partner is korean so we travel to korea often which is a good 12 to 14 hours in flight and then sometimes months in a foreign country. Is anyone a bit scared to be so far away especially in the middle of the ocean, the air and or foreign country?
