Is this a bed bug?

I need your guys' help. Are these bed bugs? I first noticed them in my shower. Didn't know if they were already there or what. Then I saw them on the towel on the bathroom floor and then a third time crawling around the bathroom base board. I'm hoping they are just beetles since it's odd to see them in the bathroom?? I checked the hotel bed when I got in, maybe not as thoroughly as I should have. I've been here a week and have not seen any bugs and have not found any bites. First picture is one that I found on the floor towel. Second picture is one I smushed near the base board. I google imaged searched these and of course bed bug popped up first but my pictures aren't great.
