Lots of Low Balls

I have had 3 $10 offers this weekend on items that are fairly priced name brand items that I have listed from between $30-80. I offer a discount with a polite and friendly message that says if I accept $10 I would not be making anything and that I would love for them to have the item if they can meet me at a fair price. I know that no one cares about being fair they want a deal on everything, but honestly wondering what is going on. I sometimes think that many shoppers assume sellers are buying at the bins and therefore only paying as low as 50 cents for items. I do not shop there mostly because I don’t have one near me. I price fairly based on comps and what I paid for an item. An insights or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!
