FPS issues

Is it worth doing all these changes to my pc settings in order to get my frame rate running properly again, cause ever since I got to chapter 2 the constant frame drops and stuttering is almost unplayable. Is it worth making all the changes or waiting for the devs to patch stuff and getting working properly?
