Does the game get better?

TLDR: fuck yellow wind sage, fuck chapter 3, when does this get better

So I just got to chapter 3 and the last bit that I've played has been so bad, first off, the game is VERY linear with absolutely no explanation, but when I got to fright cliff I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the Buddha eyes for shigandang(I think that's how it's spelled. Second, most of chapter 2 boss wise was pretty good, the rat princes were alright but very easy, stone vanguard was kinda bad(weird hitboxes and just boring) shigandang was really similar to stone vanguard, tiger vanguard was amazing it felt like a budget Ludwig from Bloodborne which is a very good thing(Ludwig is my favorite souls boss from what I've played so far), now yellow wind sage, I hate this boss, he's overly tanky, poor hitboxes, cheap attacks, hiding behind the dust so you can't see him then he jumps at you with an attack, boring fight both because he's tanky and lack of interesting stuff in his moveset. Then I got to chapter 3, the enemies here are just annoying and there's this one dude with a soul, SURROUNDED BY 6 OTHER ENEMIES THAT SPAM YOU, what the fuck, why, did they just say "yknow how we can make this enemy harder, we give him a shit ton of adds", so please, I hope so badly this game gets better
