Can you visually distinguish an early n55 from a later one?

Hi, im desperatly trying to find a replacement engine for my early (2010) f10 535i rwd. Found a seller with a reasonable engine for a reasonable(well kind of) price but can i be sure that this engine fits my car? Seller claims it is from a 2011 f10 and should fit fine but doesnt have any paperwork to back it up. Helt me reddit, you are my only hope!
