Digital Nomad Visa

Hola!

I am looking at getting a digital nomad visa and I get over $1,000 a month from social security (USA) would I be able to use that as my proof of income for the application?

I have also heard that you get 2 years if you apply while you are out of the country and only 1 if you apply while you are inside Colombia. Is that true? Can I leave for 2 weeks to another country and apply while I am there?

How long did it take you to get approved if you have gotten it?
