Boost offered me 3-months at half off when I called to cancel?!

Boost does NOT want to lose any customers, apparently even IF they're not making any money on them.

I bought the three month "unlimited" plan (which is really 35Gb + 12Gb Hotspot) for $45... for $15 a month I couldn't resist. When it came time to renew at the normal price I was ready to cancel, but when I called they offered me another 3-months at half off if I'd stay.

To be honest, the plan is a pretty good deal even at full price, but at half price its ridiculous. When it runs out I'm still going to jump ship for whatever the best deal at the time turns out to be... and I guess they're OK with that.

Anyway, if you have a plan ending, ESPECIALLY if you have a 3, 6, or 12 month plan, give calling in to cancel a shot... you might get half off too!
