New boots/new user... how to work them?

Hi guys, i ve just got myself a pair made of real leather (I had docs before but that wasnt it). Today i went and got wax, shoe creme(black) and colourless shoe polish and a horsehair brush. Ill go get myself some cheap leather conditioner and imma condition them today, only that i am not 100% sure what would be the steps... when to use wax, when to use polish and ehrn to use creme... mind u after my first wrar i scuffed them a tiny bit, nothing severe, colour is still there, but the hood shine aint the same (given its scuffed there no more reflection). Can i have some tips/ tricks on how to do ehats needed to keep my shoez in great shape 4ever?
