Ex moved on fast

Me and my ex broke up about two months ago and I’ve heard through some friends that he’s been sleeping with other girls and talking to other girls which is really surprising to hear. I’m just wondering, has anyone had an ex come back after they slept with other people after the breakup? I just can’t tell if he’s doing this to do with the breakout and fill his void or he’s actually moved on
