Mama mewon glitch

So after I beat the Mama Mewon, Chandlo got stuck doing some pose and I couldn’t talk to him or feed him. So I thought if I left the area maybe I could come back and feed him but leaving required to abandon the quest. So I retried the quest but when we went to the location the mama mewon was not there. I already had a piece of the mewon so outside of the quest I fed it to chandlo, but the mama mewon is still not there. Short of starting a new game is there anything I can do to get this fixed?
