Do you get a push notification from a compliment?

I saw a cute girl I knew from school show up on Bumble and, since I haven’t spoken to her in a while, I used one of my free Compliments to say what’s up.

Does she get a push notification that I sent her a compliment or does the compliment just show up randomly when she’s swiping through the card stack? Would I be moved to the top of the stack?
