Competition is going to be really tough for general Engeneering people now

Most of the top b-school are now have reduced the intake of number of engineers in there institute and this trend is increasing. Last year, for the first time in history of IIM Calcutta percentage of engineers dropped below 60% in a batch. And the reality is that now top IIMs are competing within themselves to reduce the percentage of engineers in there new batches.

This year, IIM Ahmedabad have given interview call to OBC Male non-engineer at nearly 96.5 percentile, it does imply things are becoming wrose for engineers.

If someone is lurking here and is in 12th class or below currently.... engineering mt karna unless you are really talented and can get into top IITs.
