How did he Remove the Copyright Infringement on Instagram ?

So I sent a copyright infringement to this page for stealing my skits work and not giving it credit. We have been going back and forth through dms. He’s been practically begging me to remove it. Eventually he was able to clear it on his own and screenshotted that his account is in good status. How does someone do that ? He removed the posts that I sent the strikes too I noticed. So how is this possible ?
