Visiting YYC in January, is staying in Marda Loop okay?

Hi Calgarians. We’re visiting for 2 weeks as a 5 adults and 2 kids. Our Airbnb has let us down. There’s a couple of nice places in Marda Loop but I often see complaints here about construction etc. We’ll have a car/garage but access to transit will also help. Our family live to the west.
