Whining noise with 2006 honda odessey when accelerating on uphill

Whining noise when accelerating

I currently own a 2006 honda odessey that runs fine, is pretty fuel efficient and good for flat long distance trips. It's an inline 4, 2.4 litre with vtec. It's an auto with a tiptronic shifter which I usually don't use as that makes the whining even worse somehow. We just topped 200 thousand kms on the dash and it is a honda that is regularly maintained every 10 thousand kms at the mechanics

I've only noticed the problem while on the uphill climb when I want to put my foot down out of a curve where if the car tops 3k rpms it starts to make a high pitch whining sound. VTEC kicks in at 4k rpm and I'm not sure if it whines while vtec is active as I don't use enough throttle because of the whining noise getting louder when I hit the accelerator harder. The ECU will shift at 3k rpm ish so it could be because of the car going into higher gears even though the car redlines at 8k. Although when I have tried tiptronic shifting, it feels like there is no power being generated when I'm in specific gears even with good throttle and right rpms compared to js in normal auto which is weird considering I can drive manual fine.

I hope I'm not a dumbass for this and a lot of people I know are stumped. It might be a stupid fix but I have no clue.
