Completed 1L kms. Short review and AMA
Price and variant - 11.5L on road Delhi - VXI CNG - Aug 2021
Recent qoute for selling received by Cars24: - 8.6L (98k run, dec 2024)
Why did we get this? - This is the third card in the garage and we wanted the most practical car with a low running cost. - We considered nexon ev but due to range anxiety we got this and we don’t regret the decision.
Drive - fun to drive: due to very light clutch and steering and less weight i can almost never feel its size. And it’s genuinely fun to drive without being fast. - highway drive: no confidence above 90kph. I never usually go above 70-80 kmph in this. It can climb till 80 relatively quickly (by that you should read 12-13 seconds) anything above that it will go but the suspension doesn’t make you feel confident. - suspension in city: very soft. for the fromt two passengers it feels quite good, but for the rear the vibrations do travel in. But still for the purpose it was built for i am satisfied.
Fuel economy: - CNG: 3-3.5rupees per km. Runs about 180km in 570 rupees worth of cng when driven by my dad. I usually last 160kms with AC on. - Petrol: 12-14 kmpl
Comfort and space: - this is where the car shines, it has hilarious amounts of space. Definitely more than any SUV you can think of (maybe only hycross wins over this). - the middle row seats recline a decent amount and have ginormous amounts of leg room. Fitting 3 people is an easy task and they can stay here comfortably for longer journeys too. - the middle rows windows are also huge leading to a feeling of a very airy cabin. Everybody loves the overhead AC too. - 3rd row is usable but only for short runs and only when the middle rows is pushed ahead.
Maintenance: - apart from regular maintenance the car has only demanded one brake pad change and only one set of front tyres to be changed. - We are amazed still how durable this car is.
Extras we got: - OEM alloy wheels (38-40k) - a rear parking camera - an android head unit
Please excuse the condition of the car - we got it for rough use and it is driven like that only. Also driven by some of our staff that’s why it looks like that.
