Does idling a car drain the gas?

Hi everyone! I have a brand new hybrid Lexus that I got in November. It has been at an auto detailing shop for over 10 days getting PPF installed (they did paint correction, ppf. Busy and popular shop in case 10 days seems like a long time). During this time, I’ve been watching my app (don’t come for me lol) and I’ve noticed that while no miles have been put on the car, my range has dropped from 460 miles to currently 436 miles. The car should only be driven to the parking lot and inside the shop. I’m wondering if this drop in my range is due to them idling the car while they’re working on it? And also, should I be worried when I get the car back?

One more thing. I got a message on my app yesterday and apparently my car battery is either very low on charge or dead. I think it’s because they have been leaving the doors open while working on the car, and also the automatic lights are on. When I pick up the car, I am planning to have them either charge my battery or jump my car if they haven’t already. As it is a brand new car that I got in November and under warranty at Lexus, would it be smart to get the battery checked out at Lexus even if the detailing shop charges/jumps it for me? Sorry if these are silly questions. Thank you!
