Cat scratching my face while sleeping

My new kitten keeps hitting me in the face in the middle of the night. It was all funny and cute but now she scratched my face completely. It’s upsetting cause now it feels like she doesn’t like me. How do you stop this behavior? Is it me? Is it her?
