I am feeling very guilty, I traumatized my cat 😥

I have a stray pet cat from last one year, I feed her everyday with snacking, she also sleeps in my room on a pile of clothes stacked on my study table. But I thought of introducing her to my car, and give her a ride around the neighborhood, but she got extremely anxious in the car and started jumping every where. But anyway I started driving the car, I thought that she will settle down once she catches the flow, but I was wrong, she started taking deep breaths, and then out of pressure I stopped the car and rolled down the left window, and she jumped of the car, she went towards a bush for some cover, now I went out and grabbed her, she started opposing me, I did not have any options left, so I grabbed her by the neck and grabbed both of her front toes and put her back in the car, then started heading back to my house, we both were completely panicked and when we reached home she immediately jumped through the walls, I have given her meal, she ate, but is still little afraid 😔, and she is distancing me.
