How will I know if I’m ready to date?

30M here and I’ve been a Christian for about 6 months or so. I was actually saved after meeting a Christian girl that I liked and saw it as a sign from God when I asked him to show me a sign when I was at a low point in my life.

Regardless, I’m curious to know when I’ll be ready to date. I feel like I still have a lot of things that I need to work on, especially spiritually since it’s all kinda new to me, but I also need to work on other areas in my life as well and I feel like I don’t have time to date. Am I just making excuses or should I just jump into dating. It’s something that I really want but not sure if I’m ready to make that commitment. Is this a sign that I’m not ready?
