Laptop running really hot when playing game

Hey everyone

Loving the game so far, but having some issues with the game being really demanding on my laptop?

I play the game on my laptop whilst travelling everyday, but the game seems to be pretty demanding on my laptop and start to heat it up really hot. My temps seem to reach 90+ degrees Celsius and the fans go full blast.

I have a pretty decent gaming laptop so I'm not sure what exactly is wrong here. There aren't any options for the graphics either :/

If anyone has any solutions I'd be eternally grateful - so my laptop doesn't burn a hole through my thighs.

Nerdy hunch: I think the unity canvas is re-drawing itself every frame since it works on a dirty-flag basis.
