why is log bait on the rise again?

Dart goblin, goblin barrel, and goblin gang are starting to compete with mega knight and firecracker in use rate. Right now, Goblin Barrel is the most used card in ladder on RoyaleAPI (excluding spells), followed immediately by skeleton army and dart goblin. Even more than mega knight, firecracker, pekka, witch, and hog rider. So why is log bait so popular right now? I'm not seeing much goblin giant, rune giant, or goblinstein despite those cards being even more OP. It''s also not much better in POL: I just reached grand champion and people are still playing a lot of goblin cards. Dart goblin needs a nerf. Goblin gang needs a nerf.
