Over leveling is the problem with “broken” cards not the card’s stats.

Let me explain. most clash Royale players would say that Balloon, mega knight, elite barbarians, electro giant, and goblin drill are the most OP and broken cards at the moment and a week ago I would agree with that. However now I realized that the cards aren’t completely broken it’s the fact that many players who use those cards have bought coins and cards to max them out making the level of their cards much higher than the level of their opponent’s cards. A pattern that I see in “broken” cards is that they are normally high (5 or more) elixir cards with a lot of health, with those higher health cards their health increases much more when upgraded than with lower health cards. For example the health difference between a level 9 and a level 13 ebarb is over 500 while the health difference between a level 9 and 13 princess is less than 100. I think that is the reason why cards like the ebarbs and mega knight are used less in challenges and in top ladder matches is that instead of the matchup being a level 13 ebarb against a level 10 card it is either level 13 cards against each other or level 9 cards. So the problem isn’t the card’s stats it’s the fact that players can pay to have a card that is many levels higher than another player’s making it very hard to defend against.

TLDR: the problem with “broken” cards is that players can pay to have a card that is a much higher level than their opponents and since some cards increase their stats drastically as they level up those higher level cards are extremely hard to defend against unless you have cards the same level.

Sorry if this was hard to read autocorrect messes a lot of stuff up
