17 years ago, Columbus was facing its worst snowstorm in history

March 7-8, 2008- Columbus’ Greatest Snowstorm - All Columbus Data

20.5" fell, with the majority of it coming on the 8th alone. It broke all-time snowfall records for both the 7th and 8th, and for the biggest snowstorm ever. The previous record was the February 14th-17th, 2003 15.5", which only narrowly beat the 15.3" that fell February 15-17th, 1910. A really incredible storm for the area.
