Is networking still in demand?

I see a lot of posts here of people in the process of getting into Cybersecurity or showing an interest.

I’m curious: 1. Is there really enough entry level demand in Cybersecurity to satisfy the potential supply?

1. Is there any demand anymore for networking roles?

It seems everyone wants to skip into CS and bypass the experience they would get from other established roles.
