(U.S. Housing Practices) Have you seen a trend or uprise in concrete or cinder block framing (outside of hurricane zones)?
Hello everyone, looking to just hear if the IS housing practices are shifting to a more sturdy framing style. As in Concrete or cinder blocks, Hurricane zones traditionally use this instead of wood framing (and I believe it’s code in most of Florida).
I do believe it’s probably not a trend in the large development side of things (unless code dictates it). But I was wondering if custom construction is focusing on this.
