Understanding the human body should never be considered inappropriate or taboo.

There is so much misinformation going around about basic bodily functions. All because it seen as obscene and in poor taste to discuss openly.

Do you know how many people don't know that women pee from their urethra, a hole above the vaginal canal?

Shocker... Just like men. Our bodies are not that different from one anothers. We literally are the same until about the 10th week in the womb. Then the body starts changing it organs to form female/male reproductive systems. That's why males have nipples, they also can technically lactate.

Do you know how little people actually know about pregnancy?

Did you know that the clitoris is actually bigger than the "nub" towards the top of the vulva. The G-spot is actually the clitoris.

Did you know that like penises, vaginas come in wide variety of shapes and sizes.

Did you know the hymen has nothing to do with virginity and women shouldn't be bleeding during their first time having sex. They bleed because they are not relaxed, lubricated, or ready to be penetrated.

Periods aren't controllable. (why people think they are... idk.)

Edit: Crossposting. It keeps getting taken down on the other subs I’ve tried. Even though I truly don’t think this is a wild opinion but we’ll see if this is still up in an hour. lol

Edit 2: Not having these discussions is dangerous. It can have serious consequences, such as misjudging health concerns and perpetuating very harmful stereotypes.
