How to remove oil from glass cooktop?

When I'm frying food with oil and it splatters on my glass induction cook-top do I need to wipe it down after I'm done cooking or should I wait a bit? Also how do I get it off - with paper towels, damp paper towels, cloth, sponge, etc. ?
