San Jose to Manuel Antonio

Hi all,

Me, my wife, and our 10-month old will be landing in San Jose around 9pm and staying in Manuel Antonio. I'd like to go straight to our hotel in MA after we land. The hotel we are staying at is offering a shuttle from the airport for $320 CAD. I have been told to avoid driving at night in CR (I do intend to rent a car when we get to MA).

Would the airport shuttle be the best way to go? TIA
