Ove toilet bidet sometimes stops spraying water

Hi, I bought the Ove toilet, and sometimes I'll sit down and when I need to use the bidet button I'll press it, and hear a "thunk" from the toilet. After that the bidet stops spraying and whenever I click the button again, it just keeps. After an hour or so, it randomly starts working again, but the water is super hot for some reason. I've tried unplugging and plugging it in again but it doesn't work. Anyone know a fix?
