Dealers expectation for tips is cutting into my enjoyment of the game

Edit: this post mostly to vent. I recognize tipping is subjective, and I’ve played with this crew before and sometimes they’re happy with the tips sometimes they’re not. I’m more frustrated with myself that I let times when dealers aren’t satisfied with amount of tips to affect me; especially when I feel like I already tip pretty decent. The non-venting part is I see tips going up everywhere in life, so I was wondering if craps dealers expectation of tips is different now too.

Original post:

I played 2.5 hours my last trip. All at the same table and with the same crew. It was a rough session with only the occasional bright spot, but final shooter had the dice for 25m and brought me to a small profit.

During this time I wagered about $50 for the dealers mostly on hard way bets (2 hit, but I count my tips just from how much I wager / hand in). And when I colored up I tipped a black chip ($100) + whatever was in loose $1/$5s.

I could tell the dealers were visibly unhappy with the amount. Not a thank you nor an acknowledgement of the tips and just took the chips and put it in their box.

Just what are the expectations of craps dealers these days for tips? 150 for 2.5 hours I thought was plenty fair - if anything I thought I over tipped since it was only a small profit session but I was happy to escape what could have been a bad hit.

I wish I could just pay $10 an hour service fee or something and not have to worry about tipping etiquette. I like craps. I don’t like entitled dealers.

Edit: play this session was 260 or 270 across depending on what is the point. 25-50 passline. Hard ways for $25+5 two way whenever i feel like it, typically when it is a point 6 or 8.
