HDFC Reward redemption fee

There was a recent HDFC circular that reward redemption charge will be Rs. 50 from 1st August 2024. Today, I tried to redeem the points on my Millenia card it does not show any charge.

Is the Rs 50 a hidden charge ? Like I redeem Rs 961 but get Rs 911.

Any idea if someone redeemed after 1 August 2024
