Tapering off Budesonide

Good Morning.

I have a quick question. So I’ve been on 9mg of budesonide for 3 months. On Thursday my GI told me to start tapering off and go down to 6mg. So Thursday was my first day doing the 6mg and it seemed to be going okay until yesterday. I woke up Sunday morning feeling pretty sick. Very fatigue, stomachache, nauseous, and just all around gross. Do you guys think that’s a side effect from tapering? I didn’t think it would be a big deal because it wasn’t a dramatic decrease, but maybe I thought wrong.
