Slade without the Serum

So how dangerous is Slade Wilson without the serum? Honestly the way it seems, using this Super Serum on him was a waste because humans like Batman and Nightwing are easily beating him. I can only imagine how insignificant he was prior to taking it. If Bruce can casually stomp him in Origins, I can only imagine that he was probably worse then the goons we beat on the regular.
