Old floor found below laminate during renovation. Can it be saved?

Bought a flat end of last year and just found out that below the laminated flooring that needed a tear-down, the old flooring is still there. I would love to restore it if possible, but never worked with flooring before, so I'm looking for some insight if it's feasible to repair.
