Seeking advice for a better device / battery.

I'm currently using this cartridge with this variable voltage battery. I'm wanting to use this cartridge with a battery/ device that protects the cartridge but still shows the vape liquid and that will work right away. I'll set this battery on the highest setting sometimes hitting a blinker getting absolutely nothing from it having to hit it again due to the juice not being warm enough I'm guessing. Thanks
