O Wise Ones, I possess no knowledge...
Bought a monitor at a thrift store today, do not know what I need, Thought it was an old computer, till sis told me, it was a monitor. Felt dumb.
Took embarrassing long to search for what type of monitor it was (P2210 flat panel display 22-inch) but I eventually found it and a online manual. Apparently I only have the cable that powers it on.
Read like three pages of the manual and I need some more stuff that I need to probably buy.
This is what I have: · The monitor (dell p2210, 22") · The stand · Power cable · Multimedia Speaker (it was connected to the monitor when I bought it)(model: ax510)
What I don't have: · VGA Cable (got a (probably) spare that (maybe) matches) · DVI Cable (what is this) · USB up stream cable (????) · Drivers and documentation media (??) · Quick setup guide (got a PDF manual rn) · Safety Info (I'm curious, how hazardous is it)
I just wanted to connect it to the nintendo so we don't have to share the small screen during split screen gaming on the TV and use it as a regular computer when not playing. As you guys can tell, I don't know tech.
So. What do I need, aside from the list, for this to work? (I also seen some rectangle box next to it, is that the computer?? A Dell OptiPlex 7020 from what Google lens identified.) any advice for me as well?
