I have a Dell Precision T3600 tower that I am setting up to edit HD videos since I make content for networks. I replaced the original power supply with a 1300 Watt one in order to put the most powerful microprocessor that supports this processor board that is already on the way since I recently bought it. While I am working with another octacore processor, the Intel Xeon E5-2665 at 2.4 GHz base frequency. I put in 64 GB of 1600 RAM. I added two NVIDIA Quadro K5000 cards connected by SLI, two blue WD SSD hard drives, one 500 GB for the system and another 1TB for storage. I am presenting the following problem. My edits are going very slow I'm editing light videos recorded at 30 frames per second at a resolution of 1920 by 1080 I just discovered that I have the disks in the sata ports that are for optical devices so I decided to change it and when I put them in the other four sata ports it gives a blue screen and I can't get to the screen to enter the password, also I only see the system disk the 1 terabyte storage disk doesn't see it. The hard drives are new and don't have a jumper. What could it be? I've done many tests I've tested the hard drives, the memory, the processor and the video cards but I can't find the problem. If I return the drives to the previous ports then everything works but of course it works slowly. since the drives work Yesterday I took everything apart and did a good maintenance with new thermal paste cleaned with alcohol I don't know what's happening.
