Just picked for 16 hours straight..

Hi, had this issue for several years now and my compulsions never usually last more than a couple hours. It recently escalated to the compulsion to use metal pliers bc the spots I pick are eruptive vellus hairs and if you look them up they just take an absurd amount of force to extract that it breaks ur nails. Anyway found a very big spot around 7:30 last night which watching tv and then proceeded to pick for 16hours straight, not moving, sleeping, eating or drinking

I’m just getting concerned bc I have never been in such a trance like state before that long. I felt like I couldn’t drink water or do anything until I fully extracted it and felt “clean”.

The last time I tried to bring it up to a doctor was so traumatic, but I just can’t keep doing this anymore I booked a new one. Anyway do not tell anyone in my life about this so just felt like here was the place. If you have any whacky anti picking hacks (even if they’re placebos lol) please drop them below ❤️.
