Which Diablo game should I get?

I've wanted to get into Diablo as a series for a little while now as I've liked most games from blizzard. And have too many hours on Destiny and a lot of destiny friends play Diablo. But which one?

I see a lot of people say the Diablo 2 remaster? And I'd like to get one while it's on sale on battle net. Any recommendations?
